A judge told Xcel it couldn’t condemn a farmer’s land. Now the utility is headed to the state Supreme Court.

A judge prevented Xcel from condemning land owned by a farmer. The utility is now taking its challenge to the state Supreme Court, where it will address conflicts over condemnation powers in Colorado regarding 550 feet of right of way on an Eastern Plains farm.
