Robot performs 26 cataract surgeries with surgeon control

ForSight Robotics has utilized its JASPER Robotic Surgical Platform in 26 fully robotic-assisted cataract surgeries on human patients. The platform works through surgeon-controlled telemanipulation, meaning the doctor directs every procedure. These procedures are designed to maintain the familiar routine of outpatient cataract surgery.
