United Arab Emirates suspends trade with Iran after coming under renewed missile fire

The United Arab Emirates suspended all trade with Iran following renewed missile fire from the country, a move that further isolates the Islamic Republic which is already suffering under U.S. sanctions and a blockade. The UAE Defense Ministry stated assessments showed missiles targeted maritime traffic, while the Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson denied launching any missiles toward the UAE. Furthermore, conflicts continue in the Strait of Hormuz, where ADNOC vessels have been regularly attacked by missiles and drones.
