Her Name Was Tasha: Friends Mourn Unhoused Nashvillian Killed While Sleeping Underneath Semi-Truck

Tasha, a 46-year-old woman, died on Monday afternoon in southeast Nashville after being run over by a semi-truck while sleeping underneath its trailer. Her friends, Kay and Michael Keys, described her as having a good heart and stated that they were part of the unhoused community near the parking area. Police reported that the driver did not stop after running her over.
