Aug. 19: Record heat possible again today; showers in the afternoon

Despite seeing an all-time record high of 100 degrees yesterday, Miami is expected to reach upper 90s today, with heat indices reaching a dangerous 105-112 degrees. A heat advisory will be in effect from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m., and showers are forecast to return later this afternoon.
