Pecan Island residents fight to be heard on SpaceX

Pecan Island residents formed the group StopSpaceX after suspecting that survey crews were testing marshland for a potential SpaceX aerospace facility. Local residents held video calls to voice concerns about industrial development and specifically targeted a proposed Federal Aviation Administration rule that could waive environmental laws and exempt companies from damages.
