China recovers rocket stage on land for first time, after earlier recovery at sea

China successfully recovered a rocket's first stage on land for the first time after launching the reusable Zhuque-3 rocket. This development marked both China’s first successful land recovery and its use of deployable landing legs, which state media called a major breakthrough in the country’s reusable rocket technology. Previously, China had performed a sea recovery using a net-capture system.
