Tired of the political texts on your phone? Here's how to stop them — well, some of them
The number of political text messages in the U.S. has increased dramatically over the last decade, leading to efforts by lawmakers in California to pass a bill banning campaign ads late at night and allowing legal damages. While campaigning texts are currently legal under FCC guidelines, residents can report violating messages directly to the FCC by forwarding the text to 7726 or “SPAM” to seek investigation.
