Patchy dense fog in spots of tri-state area early Tuesday morning
Dense fog formed early Tuesday in spots across the tri-state area, particularly north and west of New York City. The National Weather Service forecasters warned that this fog could reduce visibility to half a mile or less within narrow, sheltered high terrain valleys of the Hudson River Valley.
