Maryland motorcycle deaths reach 2025 total, prompting safety warning

Since August began, total statewide deaths included six drivers, five motorcyclists, three passengers, and two pedestrians. Because motorcycle deaths are projected to match last year's total (49 as of Aug. 17), the Maryland Department of Transportation urged caution around motorcycles.
