Rhossi, a rare sea turtle, recovers after 5,000-mile trek from Wales to Texas
A Kemp’s ridley sea turtle named Rhossi has recovered after being found nearly dead on a beach in Wales in late 2023. The creature was subsequently flown to Houston and is continuing recovery care, although scans indicated signs of lingering pneumonia.
