Ohio shelters have faced rising requests for services for domestic violence. The spotlight on this issue was renewed following accusations leveled against Congressman Max Miller in relation to his ex-wife, Emily Moreno. Meanwhile, resource centers in Ohio's 7th Congressional District reported a 27% increase in responses to reports of intimate partner violence and over 3,500 calls to their hotline.
