2 planes with same call sign in Phoenix could have been ‘disastrous’

Two American Airlines flights were involved in an incident at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. One American Airlines flight 2482 was attempting to land from Chicago early on Friday. Simultaneously, another American Airlines flight, also bearing the call sign 2482, was departing.
