‘Utter Devastation’: Lala Turns Hawaiʻi Upside Down, Spares Some

The storm named Lala caused utter devastation in Hawaiʻi while turning the island upside down. Even as it settled from a hurricane to a tropical storm, the system traveled across the island chain. It particularly hit rural Big Island harder than other areas.
