Woman killed, man hurt in NYC shooting, police say

A woman was killed and a man wounded following a shooting early Sunday in Brooklyn, N.Y., according to police. Authorities responded to a 911 call just after 2:20 a.m., which reported a person shot near Bergen Street and Howard Avenue.
