US top Middle East commander visits deployed aircraft carrier, and other Mideast news

Adm. Brad Cooper visited the USS Lincoln in the Arabian Sea during a tour that included meetings with leaders across Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and other Middle Eastern nations. Separately, Israel struck two Hezbollah commanders in southern Lebanon, an event which resulted in at least 11 deaths. Additionally, a Hamas delegation is scheduled to meet with Egyptian officials in Cairo regarding Gaza ceasefire talks.
