Dance becomes a step toward coding at a West Philly arts program

The West Park Cultural Center offers a course called danceLogic that combines dance routines with computer coding, structured around concepts of repetition and learning steps. This program serves girls ages 13 to 18, using movement and technology to build confidence and introduce them to academic possibilities, especially for girls of color. The curriculum involves both dedicated time for dancing and learning coding technology.
