Routine California traffic stop leads to seizure of 30 pounds of cocaine worth more than $800K

California authorities seized over $800,000 worth of suspected cocaine from a vehicle stopped in Merced County after an alleged traffic violation. The investigation is being handled by the Merced Area Gang Narcotics Enforcement Team (MAGNET). Additionally, federal agencies reported other large seizures, including over half-a-ton of cocaine at the Calexico Port of Entry and drugs found concealed in cucumber shipments.
