Package dispute led to armed standoff at Wilton Manors apartment complex, cops say

A 57-year-old man named George Manuel Mandes barricaded himself in his home in Wilton Manors after an encounter with an Amazon delivery driver over packages. The dispute escalated when Mandes allegedly accused the driver of stealing a package and pulled a handgun. Police subsequently arrested Mandes at the complex, where they recovered the firearm.
