California defends childhood vaccination schedule against Trump efforts to weaken it

California is defending its childhood vaccination schedule against efforts by President Trump to weaken it. The defense follows an executive order issued by President Trump recommending that the singular measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) vaccine be separated into three parts. The order also suggested that all childhood immunizations should be given at separate visits.
