California defends childhood vaccination schedule against Trump efforts to weaken it

California is defending its childhood vaccination schedule against efforts from President Trump. These efforts came following an executive order recommending that the singular measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) vaccine be separated into three components. The order also suggested that all childhood immunizations should be administered at separate visits.
