Navy adopts new policies after brutal murder of Norfolk-based sailor
Acting Navy Secretary Hung Cao ordered policy revisions following the murder of Norfolk-based sailor Angelina Resendiz. The changes implement an “absent-unknown” status designation and also prohibit the transfer of sailors who are under investigation for sex crimes.
