Mecklenburg County sues BK Partners LLC over Brooklyn Village delays

Mecklenburg County has sued the developer, BK Partners LLC, regarding delays at the Brooklyn Village redevelopment project. The county alleges that the developer failed to meet required construction and demolition deadlines for the $700 million project meant to transform Uptown Charlotte.
