Reston daycare employee charged with assaulting 3-year-old child

Jaspal Bharaj was charged with misdemeanor assault and battery after police reported he assaulted a 3-year-old child at Bright Horizons Daycare in Reston, Virginia. Investigators determined that Bharaj pulled the child's hair, pushed his head into a basket, and shoved him to the ground. The daycare facility terminated his employment and cooperated with the investigation.
