Ohio GOP Gov. DeWine makes plea to Trump: Let us keep immigrants

Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine pleaded with Donald Trump, urging him to focus on bipartisan reform regarding legal immigration because he stated restricting legal immigration is not a good idea. DeWine referenced how many foreign-born workers are contributing to local communities while arguing for finding people who need to be here legally. In contrast, the Trump administration stated they were accomplishing goals of immigration reform with a focus on “mass deportations,” noting that the Department of State revoked over 175,000 visas.
