North Miami woman recovering after bullet hits her while she was in bed

A 38-year-old woman named Angeline Jean Elliott was shot by a bullet in her North Miami home while she was sitting in bed last week. Police determined that the incident was an accidental shooting, occurring when her neighbor discharged a gun nearby. After undergoing surgery to remove the projectile, Elliott recovered, and police filed no charges.
