Flash flood concerns for eastern Long Island
The National Weather Service issued a flash flood warning until 9:15 a.m. Thursday for eastern Suffolk County on Long Island. Forecasters report that thunderstorms are producing heavy rain over the warned area. According to the National Weather Service, between one and two inches of rain have already fallen.
