Child severely injured by fireworks on Staten Island: NYPD

A 10-year-old girl was left with devastating injuries after a fireworks accident at General Douglas MacArthur Park in Staten Island. Investigators found what police believe was a powerful M-80 firework inside a bathroom where the incident occurred. The accident also resulted in a New York City Parks worker being placed under arrest.
