Ms. Lauryn Hill and Fugees’ bandmate Wyclef Jean will headline Global Citizen’s antipoverty festival

Ms. Lauryn Hill and Wyclef Jean will headline the Global Citizen Festival in Central Park, an annual gathering that pressures world leaders to fund antipoverty initiatives after the United Nations General Assembly. The festival aims to mobilize $100 million for education and food security, and $1.5 billion to expand clean energy in the Indo-Pacific region. Hugh Evans hopes the event will strengthen outstanding commitments from participating countries.
