Mainly dry through Saturday before shower and storm chances return

Mainly dry weather will settle over Southeast Michigan through most of Saturday, with temperatures warming into the 80s today and Friday. Although hazy sky conditions persist due to wildfire smoke from the Pacific Northwest, the chance for showers and thunderstorms returns late Saturday into Sunday. Because these storms could produce heavy rain and lightning, outdoor plans are advised to remain flexible.
