Florida State University hit with federal civil rights investigation over race, sex-based scholarship programs

The Department of Education's Office for Civil Rights opened a federal investigation into Florida State University over 32 scholarships, which are accused of discriminating against students based on race or sex. The DOE inquiry investigates potential violations of Title VI and Title IX, stemming from a complaint filed by the Equal Protection Project.
