This program helps Virginia military members place their pets with carers during deployment

Operation Foster is a nonprofit that specializes in placing military personnel's pets into temporary foster homes while service members are deployed or seeking treatment for conditions like Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. Marine Corps Reserves Pfc David Morrow utilized the organization to place his dog, Lola, with a temporary owner during his deployment. Operation Foster has fostered and reunited over 3,500 diverse pets nationwide.
