Man sentenced to 5-20 years for role in Metro Detroit auto theft ring

Caesar Cooper, 25, from Detroit, was sentenced to five to 20 years in prison by Oakland County's 6th Circuit Court for his role in a Metro Detroit auto theft ring. Cooper pleaded guilty to one count of conducting a criminal enterprise for numerous thefts that occurred between 2023 and 2025. This investigation involved multiple law enforcement agencies across Michigan, including the Troy Police Department.
