No charges after 2 fatal Warren shootings ruled self-defense, defense of others

The Macomb County Prosecutor’s Office declined to authorize charges for two separate fatal shootings that occurred in Warren, determining both incidents were justified self-defense or defense of others. The first incident involved a brother shooting a man who had assaulted his father; the second involved a boyfriend shooting an uninvited man after he confronted the victim's current partner.
