Former Keenesburg coal mine transformed into a solar farm for Molson Coors

A former coal mine in Keenesburg, Colo., is being transformed into a solar farm featuring 16,000 panels. This project will generate approximately 7.2 megawatts of electricity, supplying roughly 7% of the annual electrical demand for Molson Coors Golden Valley operations. The initiative provides a new energy source to Colorado's clean energy landscape and feeds directly into the Xcel grid.
