Mayor Yemi Mobolade announces creation of new team to tackle homelessness

Colorado Springs Mayor Yemi Mobolade announced the creation of a Citywide Homelessness Response Team to improve coordination and accountability regarding homelessness issues. The team will bring together various city departments under a whole-government approach focusing on priorities such as housing, employment, outreach, and supportive services. These efforts will continue through partnerships with organizations like Pikes Peak United Way.
