Norfolk receives $1M in federal funding to assist in redevelopment of Globe Iron site

The city of Norfolk has received $1 million in federal funding to assist in the redeveloping of the Globe Iron site. Plans involve demolishing the long-abandoned location with the goal of creating affordable housing. Additionally, the city issued a request for bids related to clearing 17 acres situated within Bruce's Park.
