Reinstating superintendent is ‘best path forward,’ Charlotte-Mecklenburg school board says

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Board of Education reinstated Dr. Crystal Hill as superintendent on Tuesday, stating the move provides "continuity and stability" and is "the best path forward." The board noted that while reinstatement occurred, its investigation did find issues related to leadership and operational practices which they plan to address directly with Dr. Hill.
