Kids in 6 local districts head back to class

Students are returning for a new academic year across six local school districts, including those spanning Cabarrus, Cleveland, Gaston, Iredell, and Stanly counties. To manage rapid growth, the Cabarrus district is opening three new campuses, while other facilities, such as South Iredell High School, are receiving major upgrades and construction projects.
