FBI touts 6,000 arrests, 44% homicide drop one year into Trump's DC crime crackdown

The FBI marked the first anniversary of the federal enforcement effort in Washington, D.C., touting that more than 6,000 arrests and nearly 2,000 drug seizures had occurred. FBI Director Kash Patel highlighted that homicides in D.C. are down an incredible 44% from the previous year. The crackdown followed President Donald Trump's Safe and Beautiful initiative to increase federal law enforcement presence.
