‘MAGA activist’ who wants to eliminate elections commission wins GOP nod for secretary of state

Jay Schroeder won the Republican nomination for Wisconsin secretary of state, running on a campaign message focused heavily on eliminating the bipartisan Wisconsin Elections Commission and bringing election administration under the control of that office. The Democratic candidate is JoCasta Zamarripa, while Nathan Pollnow was endorsed by the state Republican Party.
