About 37,000 students return to Catholic schools as Archdiocese of Miami sees enrollment growth

The Archdiocese of Miami anticipates increased enrollment across its 65 Catholic schools in South Florida for the 2026-2027 school year, with about 37,000 students returning to class. To accommodate the growing student population and demand for education, schools are making investments, including expanding classrooms and renovating facilities; St. Theresa Catholic School is preparing for a major expansion with a new multipurpose center.
