Mooresville police update camera policies after misuse allegations

Mooresville’s Police Department updated its policies concerning how officers can use license plate reader cameras following misuse allegations. Chief Ron Campurciani announced that although as many as 10 additional employees may have misused the cameras, he stated no other officers will be charged. Recent accusations include former Officer Elizabeth Snowman accessing a Flock camera system and Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Officer Seth Elliot sharing information about an undercover cop.
