West Bloomfield man dies while diving in Florida

A 64-year-old West Bloomfield Township man named Stephen Matheny died on Monday after being found unresponsive while scuba diving in the Florida Keys. He was pulled from the water near Marathon, Fla., by first responders who immediately began CPR. The man was subsequently transported to a nearby hospital and pronounced dead.
