Luigi Mangione due to appear in New York court over healthcare CEO’s killing

Luigi Mangione is scheduled to appear in Manhattan state court regarding the killing of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson. Prosecutors allege that Mangione gunned down Thompson outside a Midtown Manhattan hotel on December 4, 2024. This appearance occurs less than a month before his trial starts on September 8.
