In the Michigan Democratic Senate primary for the open United States Senate seat, Abdulrahman Mohamed El-Sayed was linked to progressive Twitch commentator Hasan Doğan Piker. In that primary, El-Sayed/Piker polled 743,455 votes against Haley Stevens’ 727,758 votes. Furthermore, Mike Rogers announced an intention to vote for GOP nominee Mike Rogers.
