Judge deals blow to Mamdani plan to tax second homes

A judge in Staten Island, N.Y., temporarily blocked Zohran Mamdani’s rollout of a new tax targeting second homes valued at over $5 million. The ruling came from Judge Wayne Ozzi and required New York City to take down a public list containing more than 900,000 items.
