Pakistan says new defense pact with Saudi and Turkey is 'purely defensive' and open to others

Pakistan's Foreign Minister stated that the newly signed Mecca Joint Defense Agreement with Saudi Arabia and Turkey is purely defensive in nature and remains open to other nations. The agreement stipulates that an armed attack against any one of the three states shall be regarded as an attack against them all, strengthening strategic security cooperation among the countries.
