3 hospitalized, including 2 in critical condition, following house fire in South Shore, authorities say

Authorities reported a house fire at a residence located in the 6800 block of South Merrill Avenue. The accidental fire resulted in three individuals being hospitalized, including two who were in critical condition. Both the Chicago Police Department and Chicago Fire Department responded to the call.
