Man arrested in 1994 cold case murder of 85-year-old neighbor who was found dead outside her home

Randall Joseph Gall was arrested in Gaston, Oregon, in connection with the 1994 cold case murder of his elderly neighbor, Veta Hardebeck. Hardebeck's body was found outside her home on February 16, 1994, and although initially believed to be an accident or medical condition, an autopsy determined it was a homicide. Gall faces charges of second-degree murder after a Washington County grand jury issued an indictment.
